Hopi Utilities Corporation — Side Rock Water Project Micro-Grid
Awarded $4.16M in DOE funding to deploy a remote microgrid for the Hopi Reservation's Side Rock Water Supply project. This 250kW solar PV system with 1,200kWh battery storage will power two wells at the remote, unelectrified Side Rock well field, providing water security for 235 residential and 14 commercial customers while enabling economic development previously limited by water shortage.
Bartlett Lake Marina — North America's First Floating Micro-Grid
Pioneered North America's first floating micro-grid at Bartlett Lake Marina in Arizona. This groundbreaking installation combines solar generation with battery storage on a floating platform, providing reliable, off-grid power to marina operations while demonstrating innovative solutions for waterfront and remote locations.
Desert Storm — Commercial Solar Installation
Delivered a comprehensive commercial solar installation for Desert Storm, transforming their facility with clean, reliable energy. This project showcases Nerd's ability to execute turnkey solar solutions for commercial clients, reducing operating costs while advancing sustainability goals.
Clinica La Familia — Multi-Property Healthcare Solar
Executed a multi-property solar deployment for Clinica La Familia, a healthcare provider serving the Phoenix community. We secured financing for the first 5 properties with contract flexibility to add locations as they came online. The first 5 facilities are now producing power, with two additional properties in active installation.
